Sauvignon Blanc
Inspired by the wines of the Loire Valley, we embark to find Sauvignon Blanc grapes that make a fresh and pure wine, with edgy natural acidity. We’re working with a wonderful vineyard on the southern outskirts of Healdsburg. Vines grow from a south-facing slope, getting the cool morning fog of Russian River, balanced by the warm afternoons to enhance ripening. The wine is picked based on flavors in the vineyard, focusing on freshness and acidity in the fruit.
Merlot: Coming 2022
Our 2020 Merlot was sourced from Knight’s Valley. It is a well established vineyard, with vines over 30 years old, that has storied history of its grapes going to some prized Napa Valley wines in the past. Now we have the opportunity to work with Merlot grown near the bottom of Mount Saint Helena. Our block produces fruit that is both intense and delicate at the same time.
